Calculators

This series of concrete calculators has been developed to help you plan your project. You can calculate how much concrete, cement, sand, mortar or render you will need. For each calculation you will have to know the dimensions of your object. The calculator will perform the sums for you - where relevant it will add a small percentage for the wastage that inevitably happens when mixing & using.

Concrete Calculator

5 inches = 0.42 feet. 8 inches = 0.67 feet. 11 inches = 0.92 feet. 3 inches = 0.25 feet. 6 inches = 0.5 feet. 9 inches = 0.75 feet. This same principle applies when dealing in metric. If you enter your first two measurements, (for example, 5 metres x 3 metres) and your depth is 6 inches or 150mm, you would enter this as 5m x 4m x 0.150 = 2.3.

Concrete Calculator

Concrete Calculator: Estimate The Volume Or Weight On Any Given Area. If you are continuously wondering and asking yourself "How much concrete do I need?" - you have landed on the right page. Our concrete calculator lets you estimate the volume or weight of concrete on any given area. With it, you can precisely calculate concrete volumes.

Floor Load Tolerance re Granite Counters

 · Floors generally have a design load of 40 PSF live, and around 50 total. ... I've always used 150 lb/cf as a rough estimate of the weight of cured concrete, and you can't tell me that granite weighs more than twice what concrete does. Your 2.5 to 2.7 number is on the money, however, if the proper weight of water is used.

TRUCK WEIGHTS

load. Due to the heavy weight of the empty vehicle, the limits imposed by federal weight laws, especially the FBF, leave little extra weight for carrying payload. For example, under federal weight limits a three-axle ready mixed concrete truck could weigh a maximum of 48,000 lbs. Only 18,000 lbs. (out of a potential 40,000 lbs.) is.

Buying Concrete

 · Cement is caustic. Wear eye protection and gloves, and wash off skin immediately. Do not breathe dust. Concrete strength is measured in PSI (pounds per square inch) indicating the weight it can support or bear. Strength is increased by adding more cement in the mix. Weekend ready-mix delivery costs 5 percent to 10 percent more.

Concrete Mixer Truck Capacity

There are various kinds of transit mixer capacity we can supply, concrete mixer truck specifications such as: 3 m³, 4 m³, 5 m³,6 m³, 7 m³, 8 m³,9 m³, 10 m³,12 m³, 14 m³and 16 m³. And self loading concrete mixing truck for sale specifications are 1.2 m³, 2.0 m³, 3.5 m³ and 4 m³ .We have professional manufacturing team, advanced.

Concrete thickness versus load

 · My company is looking at purchasing a forklift for our facility. I would like to find out the capabilities of our floor. We have approx 4 inch thick cement slab poured in . What load can our floor handle? Ideally we would like to get a small profile stand up forklift capable of 3,500 lbf.

slab

 · The weight of a concrete slab can be estimated by computing the volume of the slab and multiplying the volume (V) by the density of the concrete. The volume is simply the area (A = L*W) times the depth (D). The formula for the weight of a slab used in this calculator is: TW = L•W•D•mD.

What size concrete slab can hold 90,000 lbs?

It sounds like you are asking what thickness and PSI strength is needed to hold a fully loaded Semi-truck and Trailer. If that's the case, it takes some math, and the numbers will be slightly fudged as the weight is not perfectly distributed to ea.

STRUCTURE magazine

The Concrete Truck. A typical fully loaded truck exerts 66,000 pounds on the slab, 28,000 pounds on each of its rear axles. An empty truck weighs 27,000 pounds. Each additional cubic yard of concrete adds 4,000 pounds. The distance between the front and rear axles is typically around 20 feet.

Concrete weight calculator

Weight of the concrete per volume of concrete. Automatic calculator for the specific unit weight of a volume of concrete in pcf, lb/ft^3, lb/yd^3, kg/m3, fresh wet concrete mix and dry cured hardened concrete. Weighing concrete in tonnes per cubic meter or kilograms kg, lb pounds per cubic foot or yd yards. Online convert and calculate how heavy is any volume of normal concrete 150 lbs/ft^3.

Gravel Calculator

 · You can calculate the required volume of gravel by multiplying the gravel path area by the desired thickness: 23 yd² * 0.1 yd = 2.3 yd³. The last things to assess are the estimated weight of the required gravel and its cost. Knowledge about the weight of the cargo may come in handy when it comes to transportation.

Minimum concrete thickness for 19,000lbs CNC

 · FWIW, I have 2 25Klb VMCs sitting on 6" concrete floors. The concrete was poured long ago on top of used foundry sand fill. They have been there a long time with no detectable shifting. Each one has 8 3" dia pads plus 4 more pads under the toolchanger, perhaps that helps distribute the weight.

Powder / Bulk Cement Tank Trailer Guide

Definitely, the cement tank cannot be filled to capacity but it should be able to carry a good volume of cement that matches its capacity. Residual ratio: A good bulk cement tanker should have a low residual ratio. Typically, the common one is 0.3%. Today, you can get a residual ration between 0.05% and 0.3%.

How Thick Does Concrete Need to Be to Hold Up Weight?

Structural concrete work is planned to bear loads, or hold weight, but transfer the weight to the soil base beneath the structure. The thickness of concrete is an important factor in load-bearing strength, but to conserve resources and avoid over-building, other factors are also taken into consideration.

Concrete Countertop Thickness and Weight

On this kitchen island, for example, the top is 1 ½ inches thick overall, but appears to be much thicker because it was cast with a 6-inch drop-front apron. Find concrete countertop contractors near me. WeightA 1 ½ inch thick countertop made of standard concrete has an approximate weight ….

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does 1 cubic yard weigh? The weight of each material will vary by each material, as due to their densities they will weigh different. The majority of our sand, gravels and decorative rocks weigh between lbs - lbs per cubic yard.

Concrete Weight Calculator

How Much Concrete Can Fit in a Dumpster? In most locations, you can load up to 10 tons (20,000 pounds) of concrete into one of our concrete disposal dumpsters.*Since just one cubic yard adds up to over 4,000 pounds, we recommend calculating the weight of your concrete before you rent a dumpster.

How Many Cubic Yards in A Dump Truck (Dump Truck Capacity)

 · The weight capacity of a dump truck determines how much the truck can transport without any issues. Usually, it could be 3,000 lbs to 50,000 lbs. So when you're using a full-size pickup sized dump truck (2,500 lbs), you can carry ¾ of a cubic yard or 1 cubic yard stone or soil safely.
